Evangeline's Bio
Evangeline is a soprano, harpist, composer/arranger, actress,
and a board-certified music therapist. She graduated from
Brandywine High School in 1998, and received her B.A. in Music
Therapy from Montclair State University in 2004 (graduating Cum

countries.

Evangeline was born in 1980, in Auburn, Alabama, where her
performing career began.  She started singing at age one, and
began studying violin and piano at age three.  Experiments with
dance lessons also began around that time, as well as her first
acting job, a music education TV pilot developed partially
through Auburn University.

In 1987 she moved (along with her parents and younger brother)
to Wilmington, Delaware.  There she began to study voice and
theater, and also continued to study piano and dance from time
to time.  She also explored recorder, flute and piccolo.  After her
freshman year of high school, she began to study harp and
bassoon.

Evangeline's first theatrical performance was OperaDelaware's
1990 production of "The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe", in
which she portrayed a Dryad (wood nymph).  She continued to
sing with the OperaDelaware children's chorus, and in 1992 she
appeared in their world premier of "A Wrinkle In Time", with a
solo written especially for her by composer Libby Larsen.
Evangeline also performed lead and ensemble roles with many
other theaters in the tri-state region.  She also performed
professionally, touring Brazil with the Broadway musical "The
Who's Tommy".  She is a member of the Screen Actors Guild.
Film and TV credits include The Village, Running Scared (2005),
Law and Order: SVU, Central Park West, and the Mario Rocco
Show.  Her voice can be heard as the narrator in "Skatin' Safe
With Skippy", an in-line skating safety video starring Bonnie Blair.

As a harpist, Evangeline has studied with Janet Whitman, Martha
Clancy, Gloria Galante and Andre Tarantiles.  In the summer of
2000 she traveled to Ireland to study with Janet Harbison,
founder of the Belfast Harp Orchestra.

From 1998-2002, Evangeline was involved in the Miss Delaware
Scholarship Organization.  She held the titles of Miss First State
1998, Miss Pike Creek 1999, Miss Wilmington 2000, Miss New
Castle County 2001, and Miss Eastern Shore 2002.  At the state
level she won the Community Service Award in 2001 and 2002,
Non-Finalist Talent Award in 2000 and 2002, and Non-Finalist
Interview Award in 2000.  She made the Top Ten in 1998 and
was Fourth Runner Up in 2001.  She continues to stay involved
with the Miss New Castle County Scholarship Organization as a
volunteer, as well as other local pageants as a guest performer.
